Cruisin Classics would like to welcome a Mopar to our Showroom in the form of a 1970 Plymouth Cuda. 340, automatic. It is finished in Lemon Twist Yellow with strobe black 340 side graphics. It is an era correct, true to original, H code 340, four barrel car. The new black vinyl top and the graphics set off the bright yellow of the Cuda. Mileage is N/A. It has a very solid body with original floors, a replacement trunk pan, dual scoop hood, black rear wing spoiler and dual chrome sport mirrors. The lowered stance along with the 17 and 18 inch Ridler Wheels make this a head turner wherever it goes. The power plant is a 340 cubic inch model dated 1973. It is outfitted with matching valve covers and open element air cleaner. A Holley 770 cfm Street Avenger carburetor with electric choke flows through an Edelbrock Endura Shine aluminum air-gap intake manifold. The spark is handled by an MSD Billet Electronic distributor, MSD Blaster 2 coil and 8.5mm plug wires. For the heavenly lope part of the engine, a Comp Cams 280H hydraulic camshaft was used along Crane aluminum roller rockers to control the valve action. A new set of ceramic coated headers along with a Flowmaster dual exhaust gets the sound to exactly where it needs to be. A host of other new components finish off the engine compartment. All new hoses, new belts, new starter, new battery, new high flow water pump make for trouble-free enjoyment. The interior has all new black seat covers, new seat foam, new carpet, console shift automatic with a pistol-grip shifter, factory tach and gauge dash with an AM/FM CD Stereo (remote and removable faceplate) and finished with a wood grain steering wheel. The completely rebuilt automatic transmission is a Plymouth A727 with a 2500 torque converter. The trans' is paired to an 8-3/4 inch rear end with 3.55 gears and a posi unit. The suspension is all stock with the addition of 1 inch lowering blocks on the rear springs. All new Shocks. The entire brake system is new from front to back with power front disc brakes. The booster, master cylinder, brake hoses, brake lines, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, rotors, calipers as well as all of the parking brake cable. The entire fuel system is new front to back. New fuel pump, lines, tank and sending unit. Rounding out the captivating look of this classic Cuda are the tires and wheels. The tires...Sumitomo Radials (245/45ZR17 Front.....245/ZR18 Rear). High Speed Z Rated.The wheels...Ridler chromed aluminum 5-spoke. 17 front...18 rear. This is an outstanding automobile.
