2002 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 Sport, 4.0 Liter(281HP) V-8, 5-Speed Automatic Trans, RWD: This gorgeous cat has had just 2 previous Colorado owners with No Accidents and just 71,449 miles according to Carfax. It is the Sport model with the top trim 4.0 Liter V-8. This car came one option away from being 100% fully loaded with the only missing option being Navigation(factory navigation screens in these were notoriously small and placed in a hard to reach area you'd be better off with a Garmin anyways)> It has remote keyless entry, factory alarm system, power door locks, power windows, heated power mirrors, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, heated power front seats with driver memory and auto exit, power moonroof, Jaguar Premium sound system AM/FM/Cassette W/6-Disc in trunk CD changer and Bluetoooth phone connectivity with steering wheel integrated controls, heated rain sensing windshield wipers, rear ultrasonic parking sensors, dual zone front climate control with vents for the rear passengers, cruise control, a full function trip computer/drivers information center, sport suspension with Jaguars CATS Computer Aided Traction Control System, 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS, Stability Control, Fog Lights, Homelink Universal Garage Door Opener, remote trunk release, push button locking fuel door, and those gorgeous 17 Inch 10-Spoke alloy wheels that came as part of the Sport Package that are wrapped in Mirada Sport tires that were made in mid 2011 but have over 3/4 of their tread remaining as this car was not driven often as the miles would suggest. The body colored grille and mirrors were part of the Sport package and make it easily identifiable as such. This was one car that really surprised me with the smoothness of it's power delivery and the way that higher rpm shifts are soo smooth and seamless that you're barely aware they've taken place. The characteristics of this car are very different than the XK roadsters and it really brings the term grand tourer to mind. 0-60 comes at just a touch under 7 seconds which is plenty quick in everyday driving and it will do 150 mph if you want it to but that's not this cars mission. It's simply a great GT car that will coddle you in comfort with wood fine wood surrounding you and a great sounding stereo. The smell of the Connolly leather is one of my favorite smells and smells like no other leather interior I've smelled outside of another Jaguar which all have what I'd consider a signature Jaguar smell. Put me in one blindfolded and I'd know from the smell where I was. It's in very good condition for the year with a small split on the drivers outer torso bolster being the extent of the interior issues and a weathered clear bra up front being the only outside issue. One could remove the clear bra with a blow dryer or heat gun and some patience and the paint underneath would be near perfect. The only other thing missing was the shelf that covers the spare tire and battery in the trunk which we have ordered a replacement for and will be installed when it comes in. The car has passed Colorado emissions and is in excellent mechanical condition. It's a great looking car that turns heads everywhere it goes that has a ton of miles left in it.
