The 65 and 66 Mustangs are arguably the most desirable and popular collector cars that are affordable. The GT Mustangs are highly sought after because of both rarity and their vintage race car stance. This unusually well-equipped GT, documented by its original sales invoice found with the car, was reportedly a Texas car all of its life. SMG discovered this car from the same owner of another car purchased. The owner had purchased this car as a restoration project that was never completed. We have never seen a Mustang GT with all the factory options that are installed on this car. Options include the powerful A-Code 225 horse engine, 4-speed Transmission, Air conditioning, AM 8-Track tape player, Deluxe Pony Interior, Power steering, Power disc brakes, vinyl top and GT sport wheels. This GT is freshly painted in its original Wimbledon White on a rust free and very straight body. An original black vinyl top car with black GT stripe kit, vintage correct red-line radials and new complete dual trumpet exhaust. The floor pans had been replaced on this car prior to purchase. The installation was crude and has been re-worked for improved structural and cosmetics. No other metal work was discovered which is likely the result of the dryer Texas roads. This Mustang is nearing completion and should be 95% completed by year end. It will be available for purchase for a price ranging from $27,500-$32,500. A pre-completion discounted purchase price is available.
